Amanda And Brendan’s Noosa Wedding

Amanda and Brendan were married at Noosa Heads on the 29th November by celebrant Stephanie Neal.
The girls got ready in the amazing Starlight room overlooking the palms and ocean at the southern end of Noosa’s main beach at the Netanya Noosa Resort. There was a great relaxed vibe and Amanda and her bridesmaids were having a great time, joking around in there matching silk robes.
I had a quick visit over to Brendan and his merry men. Young Jimmy was the most relaxed out of all of them. After a quick beer to settle the nerves and a few quick photos we loaded into the car and headed back for the coast.
Amanda looked truly amazing as she stepped out of the room in her beautiful wedding dress designed by George Wu. It was already time to go so a few quick photos were taken and then Amanda, escorted by her brother Andrew walked the board walk to the La Plage Grove for the ceremony.
Celebrant Stephanie Neal performed a wonderful ceremony which included readings from friends and a candle lighting in memory of Amanda’s parents. Young Jimmy did his job perfectly handing over the wedding rings right on queue. Before too long their vows were sealed with a kiss, but not a normal kiss a big dippy kiss which the crowd went wild about. The newly announced Mr and Mrs Buckenham were showered with flower petals as they walked back down the aisle.
The wind had picked up by this part of the day but the storms were staying away so no one was complaining and after some shots on Noosa main beach and a few shots along the boardwalk it wasn’t to long before the bridal party made their grand entrance to the reception which was being held at Sails restaurant. The stormy sky lit up briefly on sunset which provided a spectacular backdrop for some more photos.
MC for the night was Tim Reid and he did a marvellous job getting the crowd involved. The speeches ticked all the boxes with tears shed along with plenty of laughs. To end a day of massive highs the last of the formalities, the bridal Waltz didn’t disappoint with dips and spins that set the tone for the party to begin and the dance floor was abuzz with movement.
Congratulations on your wedding guys and thank you for having me along to capture your memories for you. ~ Shane
