“Heavy Burgess Shorebreak” | Wave Photography, Forster, NSW, Australia

Here are a few photos from Shane’s recent shorebreak session at Burgess Beach Forster . They weren’t the biggest waves he’s ever shot but some of the heaviest. Shane said the water was literally only knee deep and he got hammered on numerous waves capturing these images to share with you. ~ Rhonda

“Main Beach Shorebreak” | Wave Photos Forster, NSW

Finally the water was clear, off shore winds and the sun was out for Shane to get down to main beach to shoot the shorebreak. He has been wanting to get back in the water to shoot the shorebreak for ages, but the summer onshore conditions just haven’t allowed it to happen. So yesterday when it all came together he couldn’t wait to get out there. I think it was well worth the swim for Shane resulting with some nice images. ~ Rhonda

“Main Beach Beauties” | Forster Wave Photography

Some may think why bother taking photos of such small waves, but Shane can see past their size and appreciates the inner beauty of these miniature art works.  Each wave only lasts a couple of seconds and by taking a photo these magical artworks can be frozen in time. “Main Beach Delight” | Forster Professional Photography

On the spur of the moment Shane decided to throw his camera and water housing in the car and jump in the water at Main Beach. He only had about half an hour until the sunset, but the conditions were perfect so he couldn’t resist and had to make the most of this opportunity.
