The 2011 International Loupe Awards | Shane Chalker Photography

As a photographer when you decide to enter your photos into an International photography competition and to be judged by your peers it is a little daunting. You are never sure how your images are going to score and to know exactly what the judges might be looking for. This year I entered 6 images in four different categories and am so stoked to of received an award for each image. In total I won four bronze awards and two silver awards with my highest score being 85 out of 100. I love to enter these awards to see where my photography really stands in the big picture. I’ll continue to strive to better myself and look forward to entering more International competitions. My nine year old daughter said to me yesterday “your goal should be to one day get a gold award Dad”. You never know hopefully one day! (Nothing like a bit of pressure) ~ Shane

Great Lakes Business Excellence Awards | Professional Photography Forster

This was the night of nights for all Great lakes businesses. We would like to thank the Forster Tuncurry Chamber of Commerce for all their hard work and effort that went into this very successful event and a very special thanks to Sharon Fowle. Here are a few photos from the evening. We were very proud to be a winner in the Excellence in marketing and to be one of five finalists for the Business of the year.
